Very excited. We have turned out swimming pool into an ‘eco-pool’ with a floating platform containing bulrushes and other water plants. Thick-billed weavers have investigated this the last few years, now one has finally built a nest – took about a week, a female has helped, they have been mating….. hope we don’t disturb them as we still use the pool sometimes …
