
The gem of the Garden Route must be Storms River Mouth in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Waking up to a red sky, with waves crashing meters away must be experienced. The area has great coastal and forest birding.

Stutterheim was one of those little towns that exceeded my expectations, and we were not able to explore all the towns offerings in the time there. Walks in the Kolgha forest is a great for bird lovers, and dribing out to the historic town of Thomas River is a must do.

Hogsback surely is the quaintest little town that I have been two. Seeing the combination of regular townsfolk, farmers, Rastafarian-types and artist all among each other was very interesting. This is the town for hiking, especially in the forests.

This reserve is about solitude. having miles of pristine beach and just sharing it with some cattle is called paradise. The coastal forests and the bird life is amazing, and contains many surprises.
