Pectoral Sandpiper and Pygmy Goose

My recent outing to Mkhombo dam was aimed at finding the Pectoral Sandpipers that were reported to be there. These birds are a national rarity so the opportunity to find them again are quite remote.

Although I was happy to find them, and there were many people that were very happy to find them, I must admit that finding African pygmy Goose and Barred Wren-warbler more satisfying to me, as I had searched and dipped both of them on many occasions.
